A screening of actor Vijay’s film ‘Jana Nayagan’ by the Central Board of Film Certification’s Revising Committee has been delayed. The postponement occurred as one committee member fell ill, causing the eagerly anticipated action movie, directed by H Vinoth and reportedly Vijay’s final film, to be rescheduled. Actor Sriman expressed his eagerness to watch the film, emphasizing the hard work put into it and leaving the release date to fate.
The film, initially set for a Pongal release in January, faced delays after being referred to a Revising Committee under Rule 24 of the Cinematograph (Certification) Rules. ‘Jana Nayagan,’ directed by H. Vinoth, features a star-studded cast including Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, Prakash Raj, and Gautham Vasudev Menon. The production team announced the postponement with a heartfelt message, acknowledging the fans’ excitement and promising to reveal the new release date soon.
KVN Productions, the film’s production house, expressed understanding for the fans’ anticipation and emotions surrounding the movie.
