In an exclusive conversation during the promotions of his upcoming series ‘Musafir Cafe,’ Massey described the issue as complex, highlighting the disparity between India’s economic realities and those of developed nations. He expressed that India, being a developing economy and a young democracy, still has much progress to make for future generations. Massey stressed the importance of hard work for India to achieve its full potential in the coming decades.
Discussing the entertainment industry’s working hours, Massey noted the industry’s high costs and the need for extended hours on set due to budget constraints. Despite the challenges, he acknowledged the necessity of sustained effort for India’s growth and success. Massey is set to appear in Netflix’s romantic drama series ‘Musafir Cafe,’ where he plays the character Chander, exploring themes of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery.
The actor praised the series as one of the best scripts he has encountered and revealed that the role pushed him to emotional depths he had not explored previously as an actor. Directed by Ruchir Arun, ‘Musafir Cafe’ also features Mahima Makwana and Vedika Pinto. The show is scheduled to premiere on OTT on July 24.
