Vishal Dadlani Shares Story Behind Iconic Song on Indian Idol

Music composer and singer Vishal Dadlani, a guest on Indian Idol, revealed the backstory of the timeless song ‘Chingari Koi Bhadke’ from the movie ‘Amar Prem’. He recounted how the melody was crafted by R.D. Burman, known as ‘Pancham Da’, and the lyrics were penned by Anand Bakshi after a rainy night. Dadlani praised their ability to turn ordinary moments into extraordinary art, calling them legends.

The iconic song, ‘Chingari Koi Bhadke’, featured in the 1972 film ‘Amar Prem’, starring Rajesh Khanna and Sharmila Tagore. Sung by Kishore Kumar, the romantic track was composed by R.D. Burman and written by Anand Bakshi.
