In a tragic incident in Telangana, a woman named Jangamma, aged 42, threw her two daughters, Jyothi, 15, and Sailaja, 13, into a well before jumping in herself at Yelkicharla village in Bhootpur mandal. Her son managed to escape and informed the villagers about the incident. The bodies were retrieved from the well for a postmortem examination.

The police revealed that the woman took this extreme step due to a family dispute. This marks the third such incident in Telangana this month, following similar tragic events in other parts of the state. On March 2, a woman ended her life after killing her two children in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, while on March 6, an autorickshaw driver in Kamareddy district drowned his three minor daughters in a lake due to financial difficulties.

Authorities have initiated an investigation into the recent incident and have registered a case. The police are working on uncovering further details surrounding the tragic event.
