Several world leaders strongly condemned Iran’s attacks on unarmed commercial vessels and civilian infrastructure in the Gulf. They expressed deep concern about the escalating conflict and called on Iran to cease its threats and comply with UN Security Council Resolution 2817. The leaders emphasized the importance of freedom of navigation under international law and expressed readiness to ensure safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz.

The Joint Statement issued by leaders from various countries highlighted the need for a comprehensive moratorium on attacks on civilian infrastructure, including oil and gas installations. They welcomed the International Energy Agency’s decision to release strategic petroleum reserves and pledged to stabilize energy markets. Additionally, they called on all states to respect international law and uphold principles of international prosperity and security.
