Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during his Japan visit, engaged in discussions with top Japanese company CEOs to encourage their active involvement in investment opportunities in the state. He highlighted the potential for investments in logistics parks, warehousing, multi-modal transport infrastructure, and medical device manufacturing. Adityanath positioned Uttar Pradesh as a key hub for global supply chains and high-value manufacturing, emphasizing the benefits of the Medical Device Park in the YEIDA region for Japanese firms.

The Chief Minister underscored the favorable ecosystem provided by the Medical Device Park, including modern infrastructure, connectivity, policy support, and a streamlined clearance system. He assured Japanese investors of not just land and infrastructure but also policy stability, a skilled workforce, and a government known for prompt decision-making. Adityanath met with Shigeki Tanabe of Konoike Transport Co. Ltd to explore investment prospects in logistics parks, warehousing, and multi-modal transport infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh.

In discussions with Kazuki Shimizu of Mitsui & Co., Adityanath highlighted the exceptional investment opportunities presented by Uttar Pradesh’s geographical and industrial landscape. The Chief Minister’s visit to Tokyo began with a ceremonial welcome, where he was greeted by Junichi Ishidera, Vice Governor of Yamanashi Prefecture, along with India’s Ambassador to Japan and members of the Indian community. Adityanath also shared his thoughts on reaching Tokyo, expressing reverence for the city and its significance.

During his stay in Japan, CM Yogi is set to experience a 100-kilometre ride on a Maglev train, known for its magnetic technology that enables speeds of up to 600 km/h.
