In Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, a 21-year-old youth stabbed his mother before jumping to his death from their fifth-floor residence, as confirmed by the police. The victim, identified as Sagar Yadav, was reported to be mentally unwell and got into a heated argument with his mother, leading to the tragic incident. Fortunately, the mother sustained minor injuries and is currently in stable condition.
The youth’s distress following the altercation was cited as the reason for his fatal jump from the flat. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, he was declared dead upon arrival. The authorities have taken custody of his body for further investigation and post-mortem procedures.
In a separate incident in Barwani district, Madhya Pradesh, a dispute over money between a father and son turned deadly. Chandan, the son, had been pressuring his father for over Rs 2 lakh, leading to a confrontation that ended tragically. Chandan allegedly shot his father at close range with a country-made pistol, resulting in his immediate death. After evading capture for 35 days, Chandan was apprehended by the Madhya Pradesh Police near the Narmada River.
