Acclaimed Hollywood director Zack Snyder recently commended Indian actress Huma Qureshi, describing her as one of the most exceptional actors he has collaborated with on the film “Army Of The Dead.” Snyder, in an Instagram post, shared a picture of Huma, who portrayed Geeta Ranjan in the 2021 post-apocalyptic zombie heist movie. Huma, making her Hollywood debut with this film, reciprocated the praise by acknowledging Snyder’s talent and brilliance.

“Army of the Dead,” a film conceptualized by Snyder, features a diverse cast including Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, and Huma Qureshi, among others. The storyline revolves around a group of mercenaries planning a casino heist amidst a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas. Snyder, known for his work in various genres, envisioned this film as a spiritual successor to his earlier work, “Dawn of the Dead.”

Apart from his recent projects, Snyder has a rich filmography that includes comic book adaptations like “300” and “Watchmen,” as well as superhero films such as “Man of Steel” and “Justice League.” Meanwhile, Huma Qureshi is gearing up for her role in the upcoming movie “Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups,” alongside Yash and other prominent actors. The film, directed by Geetu Mohandas, promises an intriguing narrative set in 1980s Goa, exploring themes of crime and deception.

Huma’s recent endeavors also include appearances in “Maharani 4” and the third season of “Delhi Crime.” In these projects, she shares the screen with acclaimed actors like Shefali Shah and Rasika Dugal, showcasing her versatility and acting prowess.
