Actor Zahan Kapoor reminisced about the making of the series ‘Bandwaale’ by sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses. He expressed gratitude to the creators Ankur Tewari and Swanand Kirkire for involving him in this special creative journey. Zahan appreciated the cast and crew, describing them as dedicated artists who made the experience memorable.
Zahan Kapoor’s career kickstarted at Prithvi Theatre, following his grandfather Shashi Kapoor’s legacy. He began by assisting theatre director Sunil Shanbag in a children’s workshop and later debuted in Makarand Deshpande’s play “Pitaji Please” at Prithvi Theatre. In 2022, he made his Bollywood debut in the film “Faraaz,” directed by Hansal Mehta, depicting the tragedy of the July 2016 Dhaka attack.
Returning to theatre in June 2023, Zahan starred in the play “Siachen,” portraying the survival tale of Indian soldiers on the Siachen Glacier. He also appeared in “Black Warrant,” based on Sunil Gupta’s book, covering Gupta’s experiences at Tihar Prisons until 1984, featuring real-life criminals like Charles Sobhraj and Ranga-Billa.
