The much-anticipated teaser of Panchayat Season 4 is finally here, and it promises a storm of drama, humor, and high-voltage village politics. Premiering on July 2 on Prime Video, the new season gears up to take viewers back into the heart of rural India — where quirky characters, grounded storytelling, and everyday village issues once again form the soul of the series. But this time, the stakes are higher than ever, as the battle lines are drawn for the Phulera elections.

Election Fever Grips Phulera

Unveiled at the prestigious WAVES Summit 2025 in Mumbai, the teaser offers a glimpse into the chaotic and comical world of Phulera village as it prepares for an intense election season. What was once a peaceful hamlet is now buzzing with political tension and personal rivalries.

In the teaser, Pradhan Ji (Raghubir Yadav) faces stiff competition from the ever-ambitious Bhushan (Durgesh Kumar). The twist? Bhushan isn’t the only challenger. His wife, Kranti Devi, also throws her hat into the ring, setting the stage for a multi-cornered contest. Manju Devi (Neena Gupta), meanwhile, returns with her signature quiet authority, adding a strong female voice to the fray.

Women Take Center Stage

A fresh twist this season: the panchayat seat is reserved for women, bringing Manju Devi (Neena Gupta) and Kranti Devi (Sunita Rajwar) into the electoral fray1. This dynamic not only intensifies the rivalry but also injects new energy and perspectives into the political landscape of Phulera.

Familiar Faces, Fresh Conflicts

Fans will be delighted to see their favorite characters return. Jitendra Kumar once again dons the role of the likable Sachiv Ji, who finds himself unwillingly embroiled in the village’s growing political tussles. Whether it’s navigating local egos, dealing with Bhushan’s tricks, or simply trying to do the right thing — his struggle remains as relatable as ever.

The ensemble cast also includes Faisal Malik (Prahlad), Chandan Roy (Vikas), Sanvikaa (Rinki), Sunita Rajwar (Kranti Devi), and Pankaj Jha, each contributing to the rustic yet vibrant tapestry that defines Panchayat.

What to Expect in Season 4

While previous seasons focused on community issues, relationships, and light-hearted village dynamics, Season 4 takes a bold leap into the political arena. The teaser hints at satire, scheming, and plenty of emotional moments as friendships and loyalties are put to the test. Expect larger confrontations, witty dialogues, and a layered narrative that tackles power, governance, and identity in small-town India.

Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Akshat Vijaywargiya, and written by Chandan Kumar, the show maintains its signature style — a blend of realism and humor, with a dash of heartwarming simplicity.

Verdict: A Promising Start to a Power-Packed Season

The teaser of Panchayat Season 4 perfectly sets the mood for what’s to come. It teases the drama without giving too much away, and builds excitement for the electoral war brewing in Phulera. With stellar performances expected from the returning cast and a plot rooted in ground realities, Season 4 might just be the most intense and entertaining chapter yet.

So mark your calendars — July 2 is when Phulera returns to your screens, and this time, it’s not just about duties and development — it’s about votes, voices, and village power plays.
