The much-awaited Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari teaser has finally dropped, and it promises everything you expect from a Dharma rom-com—grand sets, quirky humor, sizzling chemistry, and a wedding twist! Directed by Shashank Khaitan and headlined by Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, the film also features Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf, making it a refreshing ensemble.

The teaser is just 52 seconds long but manages to set the tone perfectly—fun, festive, and full of drama. It feels like the spiritual successor to the Dulhania films (Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania), yet brings a fresh charm with new faces and dynamics.

What Happens in the Teaser?

  • Sunny aka Varun Dhawan’s grand entry: Dressed like Baahubali, Varun is instantly trolled by his friend who hilariously says he looks like “Ranveer Singh ki dhoti me Prabhas ka podha.” Varun quickly clarifies—“Main baahubali nahi, sanskari Sunny hoon.”
  • Meet Tulsi aka Janhvi Kapoor: Draped in a saree, Janhvi looks graceful yet playful. The teaser ends with her banter with Sunny, where she insists she knows what a nightclub is. Sunny, however, believes she’s mistaking a jagran for one—cue the laughs!
  • Supporting cast shines: Rohit Saraf gets his big K3G-style helicopter entry, while Sanya Malhotra brings energy to the dance floor. Their inclusion signals that this isn’t just about the lead pair but about multiple love stories interwoven into the narrative

Music and Nostalgia

The teaser smartly uses Sonu Nigam’s iconic track “Bijuriya” as its background score. Fans instantly connected with the nostalgia, calling it a perfect fit for the rom-com’s high-energy vibe. The music hints that the film will carry a strong mix of old-school Bollywood charm with modern beats, much like Khaitan’s earlier Dulhania films.

  • Janhvi Kapoor’s Playful Chemistry: This film gives her the chance to balance grace and humor, much like Alia Bhatt in the Dulhania films.
  • Fresh Pairings: Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf being positioned as parallel leads has made fans excited for a wider canvas of love stories.
  • Wedding + Festive Vibes: Scheduled to release on Dussehra (October 2, 2025), the film promises to be a festive entertainer with lots of color, music, and family drama.
