New Delhi, May 1 (IANS) Voters’ turnout in West Bengal, at 92.47 per cent in this year’s Assembly election, has surpassed the previous high of 84.72 per cent registered in 2011, recording the highest-ever poll-participation since Independence, as stated by the Election Commission.
