Aizawl, April 14 (IANS) In a significant step toward lasting peace, the Mizoram government on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Settlement with the Lalhmingthanga Sanate-led faction of the Hmar People’s Convention-Democratic (HPC-D (LF)), effectively bringing an end to years of insurgency in the state.
