Guwahati, July 17 (IANS) The Assam government has dismissed 1999-batch Assam Civil Service (ACS) officer Arup Kumar Chakraborty from service following disciplinary proceedings initiated against him over alleged misconduct and violation of service rules, officials said on Friday.
