Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan is thrilled as his team, Los Angeles Knight Riders, secures victory in Major League Cricket. Khan praised the team’s dedication and performance after they clinched their first MLC title by defeating Washington Freedom in a nail-biting final.
The Los Angeles Knight Riders made history by winning the championship with a one-run victory over Washington Freedom in the 2026 final at the Oakland Coliseum. Led by standout performances from Sunil Narine and Jason Holder, LAKR posted 164 runs, successfully defending their total in a tense finish.
This triumph marks a significant milestone for the franchise, achieving their first MLC title after a hard-fought campaign.
