Kolkata, June 8 (IANS) The Sainthia Municipality in Birbhum district on West Bengal was dissolved on Monday after 14 Trinamool Congress councillors, including the chairman, resigned from their posts.The chairman, vice-chairman and 12 councillors of the Sainthia Municipality submitted their resignation letters to the Suri Subdivision Administrator, alleging that “the common people have rejected the Trinamool”.This is the first time that the board of a municipality among the six municipalities…
