Kolkata, July 1 (IANS) A close aide and Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to former Kolkata Mayor Firhad Hakim has been suspended by the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) following his arrest and subsequent police custody in connection with the recent collapse of the roof of an under-construction warehouse in Kolkata.A KMC official said on Wednesday that Kalicharan Banerjee has been suspended under KMC rules, which mandate suspension if an employee remains in police custody for more than 72 hours….
