Itanagar, April 14 (IANS) Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Tuesday described the Siang Upper Multipurpose Project (SUMP), a mega hydropower initiative with a proposed generation capacity of 11,000 MW, as a project of national strategic importance, not only for the state but for the entire country.
