Shillong, Jan 21 (IANS) Meghalaya on Tuesday marked its 54th Statehood Day with the official celebrations being held for the first time at Baghmara in South Garo Hills district, a move seen as a strong statement of the government’s commitment to balanced and inclusive development across the State.
