The excitement around Telugu star Nani’s upcoming crime thriller, HIT: The Third Case, just hit a new peak. The film has officially cleared its censorship process and has been awarded an ‘A’ certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). With the certification now complete, the stage is perfectly set for HIT 3 to make its grand theatrical debut on May 1, 2025.

A Certification that Hints at an Intense Narrative

Receiving an ‘A’ certificate suggests that HIT 3 will stay true to its gritty, intense roots, offering audiences a raw and hard-hitting cinematic experience. Nani, who also backs the project through his production house Wall Poster Cinema, took to social media to share a special poster celebrating this milestone. His caption, “A for Arjun Sarkaar. Certified,” cleverly ties back to his character’s name and has only fueled the excitement among fans.

HIT Universe Expansion: From a Cameo to a Full-Fledged Story

Interestingly, Nani’s character, Arjun Sarkaar, wasn’t originally planned as a lead. During a recent interview, the actor revealed that his appearance in HIT 2 was initially intended to be just a high-voltage cameo in the climax. However, the positive response to the expanding HIT Universe encouraged the makers to craft an entire story around Arjun Sarkaar, leading to the development of HIT 3.

Directed once again by Sailesh Kolanu, who has been at the helm of the HIT franchise from the beginning, this third installment promises to be darker, sharper, and more gripping than ever before. The film also stars Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead, adding a fresh dynamic to the crime-thriller setup.

Dive Deeper: Trailer and Teaser Reviews

For those who haven’t caught up yet, the recently released trailer has already stunned audiences with its dark, suspenseful tone and Nani’s powerful portrayal. You can read the detailed HIT 3 Trailer Review here.
