Amidst swirling rumors about a possible delay, the much-anticipated film Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is very much on track for its Eid 2026 release. Featuring the stellar trio of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, the film has been generating buzz ever since its announcement. With fans eagerly awaiting updates, the latest confirmation from the production house brings a wave of relief.

Clearing the Air on Delay Rumors

Recently, there was speculation that the film could face a delay due to the scale of production and an alleged incomplete sequence. However, these rumors have now been put to rest. An insider from the production team clarified that the reports are unfounded, reaffirming that the film is progressing smoothly and will meet its revised release date of March 19, 2026.

A Shift from Christmas to Eid

Initially slated for a Christmas 2025 release, Love & War was later shifted to Eid 2026. The change in release date was reportedly made to avoid a clash with Aamir Khan’s return to the big screen in Sitaare Zameen Par. Furthermore, the film’s ambitious scale demanded more production time, making the new date a more practical choice for Bhansali’s grand vision.

A Power-Packed Cast and an Intense Plot

Love & War promises to be a cinematic spectacle, bringing together powerhouse performers. According to early reports, the story revolves around a complex love triangle set against a backdrop of conflict, where two strong-willed men—played by Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal—are locked in a fierce emotional battle over Alia Bhatt’s character.

Ranbir’s role reportedly carries shades of grey, showcasing a more aggressive and intense persona, while Vicky plays a calm yet assertive individual. This dramatic contrast is expected to fuel some fiery confrontations on screen, with early sequences already impressing the crew.

Bhansali’s Vision Unfolds

Known for his grand narratives and visual opulence, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is bringing his signature style to Love & War. The film marks a collaboration of some of Bollywood’s finest talents under his direction, making it one of the most awaited films of 2026.

With no delays in sight and production running according to schedule, Love & War is set to deliver a dramatic and visually compelling experience. Fans can now mark their calendars for March 19, 2026, as Bhansali prepares to unveil another masterpiece on the silver screen.
