In a disturbing incident that has shocked Madhya Pradesh, an 11-year-old boy was brutally murdered in Bank Colony, Satna district. The accused allegedly slit the child’s throat with a sickle and hid the body in a blue drum before fleeing the scene, leaving the rented house locked from outside. The crime has left the victim’s family devastated and the entire neighborhood in fear and mourning.

The victim, a Class 5 student, belonged to Nayagaon but was living in Satna with his family. His father, who works in Nashik and rarely visits home due to mental health issues, was not present during the incident. The mother, a cleaner, and the siblings were also away when the tragic event unfolded.

The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. on April 20, 2026, while the boy was alone at home. Upon returning from work, the mother found the house locked, triggering suspicion. The police were alerted after she discovered bloodstains, a blood-soaked pillow, and the child’s missing body inside the house.

The accused, identified as Mathura Rajak, a local dry-cleaning shop owner, is suspected of holding a grudge against the victim’s family. Allegations suggest prior disputes and threats made by Mathura, leading to the tragic outcome. The police have launched a manhunt to apprehend the accused swiftly.

The brutal killing has caused outrage in Satna, with residents expressing shock and fear. The incident underscores safety concerns in residential areas and the risks faced by children left unattended due to economic circumstances.
