India’s young tennis sensation, Srishti Kiran, aged 13, showcased her dominance at the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors J30 tournament in Huamantla, Mexico, securing her fourth straight ITF junior singles title. In a commanding performance, Srishti defeated Canada’s Natalie Tsatsalashvili in straight sets of 6-4, 6-1 to claim the championship.

Throughout the tournament, Srishti displayed remarkable consistency, winning 21 singles matches and overcoming a challenging semifinal against USA’s Natalia Elena Martinez. Despite a setback in the second set, Srishti fought back strongly to emerge victorious with a scoreline of 7-5, 1-6, 7-5.

Not only excelling in singles, but Srishti also participated in the doubles event alongside Mexico’s Tamara Herman as the top-seeded pair. Although they finished as runners-up, the duo put up a spirited performance, narrowly losing to the American pair of Christina Li and Natalia Elena Martinez in a closely contested match that ended 2-6, 6-4, 6-10.

Srishti’s journey to success began at the Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association (KSLTA) in Bengaluru, where she started her tennis career. Her remarkable achievements include winning the Girls’ Singles title at the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors J30 tournament in Huamantla, Mexico, by defeating the home favorite Tamara Herman in straight sets.
