In the 36th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi impressed with a century for Rajasthan Royals, helping them reach 228/6 in 20 overs against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Sooryavanshi’s aggressive start, including four sixes in the first over, set the tone for Rajasthan’s innings.

Despite a brief setback when Yashasvi Jaiswal was dismissed, Rajasthan Royals maintained a strong scoring rate, with Sooryavanshi reaching his half-century in just 15 balls. Dhruv Jurel’s quick fifty and a late push by Donovan Ferreira further boosted Rajasthan’s total.

Sooryavanshi continued his attacking play, eventually scoring a remarkable 103 off just 37 balls, including five fours and 12 sixes. However, his innings ended when he was dismissed LBW after reaching his second IPL century. Rajasthan Royals finished at 228/6, with contributions from various players.
