The boy’s father suspects a neighbor, Mantu Kumar, as the perpetrator, with raids ongoing to apprehend him.

In a separate incident in Madhubani district, a romantic affair turned deadly when Nikhil Jha, a 28-year-old resident of Khajedih, was shot near his neck and succumbed to his injuries. The assailants allegedly targeted Nikhil over the affair, leading to his tragic demise. Authorities, including Police Inspector Satyendra Kumar, responded swiftly to the scene, but Nikhil was pronounced dead upon arrival at Sadar Hospital.
