On International Women’s Day, 6,000 women gathered at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium for a ‘run for health’ event led by actor and fitness enthusiast Milind Soman. Milind praised the participants for their courage, consistency, and community spirit, emphasizing the inclusivity and commitment to health showcased at the event.

Milind highlighted the contrasting mindsets of female runners in Delhi and Mumbai, noting the strong sense of community and boldness among Delhi women compared to the disciplined routine of Mumbai women. He commended the dedication of women who trained for weeks, emphasizing their gradual stamina-building and mutual encouragement in claiming time for their health.

Addressing challenges faced by women in their 40s and 50s, Milind emphasized the importance of prioritizing personal health and breaking free from self-imposed limitations. He encouraged women to start small, stay consistent, and discover their inner strength through physical activity, regardless of age.
