The 8th Central Pay Commission has scheduled two additional rounds of stakeholder consultations in New Delhi for next month. These consultations will focus on discussions regarding pay revision and other service-related benefits. The Commission will engage with associations, federations, and unions of Central Government and Union Territory employees in Delhi on August 7 and 10.

Eligible associations and unions are required to apply for appointments with the Commission by July 31. Only organizations that have already submitted their memorandum and have not yet interacted with the Commission in Delhi or any State and UT are eligible for these meetings.

To request a meeting, eligible organizations must submit their applications by July 31, along with their unique Memo ID. The Commission will share the venue and timings of the meetings separately. During these consultations, employee bodies are expected to address issues related to salary revision, pensions, allowances, fitment factor, promotions, career progression, and service conditions.

The Commission emphasized that the August meetings are part of an ongoing consultation process. It also stated that further interactions will be conducted in Delhi and other States and Union Territories in the upcoming months. Employee organizations outside the Delhi-NCR region can also seek appointments for meetings in their respective State or Union Territory, or at a nearby location.

The 8th Pay Commission has extended the deadline for ministries, departments, and Union Territories to upload employee data through its online portal until July 31. The Commission specified that only data submitted through the official portal will be considered, and information sent via email or hard copies will not be accepted.

Recently, the Commission held consultations with various stakeholders in Kolkata on July 9 and 10. Following the Delhi meetings, the 8th Pay Commission plans to continue its nationwide consultations. The next round is scheduled in Chennai on Sept. 7 and 8, and in Puducherry on Sept. 9.

Stakeholders, including Central Government organizations, institutions, associations, and unions interested in interacting with the Commission at these locations, can apply for an appointment by Aug. 18. They need to use the online application form and their unique Memo ID generated after submitting the memorandum. The venue details and meeting schedule for both locations will be communicated separately.
