Aam Aadmi Party Punjab legislator Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal expressed worry about the recent twin blasts in the state and criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Central government. Dhaliwal highlighted a pattern of bomb blasts and terrorist incidents occurring around election times, accusing the government of engaging in divisive politics to sway votes.
Referring to past attacks like Pathankot, Pulwama, Dinanagar, and Pahalgam, Dhaliwal questioned the timing of these incidents coinciding with elections. He directly blamed the Bharatiya Janata Party for allegedly using Central agencies to manipulate public sentiment for electoral gains. Dhaliwal also criticized the government for not equipping soldiers with modern technology and anti-drone systems despite heightened security risks.
Taking aim at the Prime Minister and Home Minister, Dhaliwal mentioned Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s requests for advanced weaponry and anti-drone technology being ignored by the Central government. He raised concerns about the security of Punjab’s border and questioned whether political motives were jeopardizing the region’s safety.
