The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) unveiled the “Kejriwal’s Guarantee” Mumbai Manifesto, pledging round-the-clock free water, zero electricity bills, top-notch education, and healthcare. The manifesto includes free water up to 20,000 liters monthly per household, modernizing BMC schools, and providing free BEST bus passes to students. AAP vows to enhance the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) with 10,000 electric buses, free transport for women and students, and pothole-free roads.
Former Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, after the manifesto release, highlighted the need to transform Mumbai into a global model, criticizing established parties for neglecting public welfare. AAP promises world-class education, healthcare, and electricity in Mumbai, emphasizing a concrete plan to elevate the city’s status. The party urges Mumbaikars to vote for the greater good and restore the city’s dignity.
AAP’s Mumbai President, Preeti Sharma Menon, emphasized the party’s track record in providing essential services without corruption, aiming to bring transparency to the BMC. Menon criticized political alliances in the upcoming BMC polls, advocating for a clean governance approach. AAP’s manifesto also includes plans for Mohalla clinics, healthcare systems, public toilets, financial aid for pregnant women, and gender-neutral facilities.
