Even after 48 hours since Kairav Gandhi, the 24-year-old son of prominent entrepreneur Devang Gandhi from Jamshedpur, was abducted, Jharkhand Police have not made significant progress in the case. The kidnappers have demanded a ransom of Rs 5 crore from the family through a foreign mobile number registered in Indonesia.
To ensure Kairav Gandhi’s safe return, Jharkhand Police have formed seven special teams conducting raids in various locations across Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, and Odisha. Kairav Gandhi had left home in his car on Tuesday morning, planning to visit the SBI branch in Bistupur and then head to his company in Adityapur before returning for lunch.
Despite informing his family of his plans, Kairav did not return home as scheduled, and his mobile phone was found switched off, causing concern among his family members. His father, Devang Gandhi, received multiple calls from an unknown foreign number on WhatsApp during an important meeting, later learning about his son’s abduction and the ransom demand from the same number.
