Trinamool Congress general secretary Abhishek Banerjee recently addressed a public gathering in Jalangi, Murshidabad district, targeting the Congress and CPI-M. Supporting Trinamool candidate Babar Ali, Banerjee labeled the opposition as the ‘B-team of the BJP.’ He emphasized the transparency and dedication of their candidate, urging voters to choose development by voting for Trinamool Congress.

Banerjee criticized CPI-M and Congress, stating that voting for Congress indirectly supports the BJP. He highlighted the past irrelevance of CPI-M and urged voters to opt for their party symbol for progress. Banerjee also questioned the opposition candidates’ credibility, citing internal conflicts within the CPI-M regarding their candidate Mustafizur Rahman.

Challenging the opposition, Banerjee questioned the development records of CPI-M in Domkal and Jalangi over 34 years. He contrasted Mamata Banerjee’s achievements with the failures of the opposition, vowing to outperform them. Additionally, he strongly criticized the BJP for withholding funds and emphasized Mamata Banerjee’s efforts in fighting for people’s rights.

Assuring voters affected by electoral roll discrepancies, Banerjee urged them not to worry and offered support through the appeals process. He emphasized Mamata Banerjee’s commitment to fighting for people’s rights in the Supreme Court.
