Acting Venezuela President, Delcy Eloina Rodriguez Gomez, visited the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL) in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh. She praised the institute’s emphasis on values-based integral education and its various research projects. Rodriguez highlighted the global challenges in education and stressed the importance of education grounded in human values.
R.J. Rathnakar, Managing Trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, accompanied Rodriguez during her visit to the SSSIHL Administrative Office. She was warmly welcomed by the Vice-Chancellor, B. Raghavendra Prasad, Registrar Srikanth Khanna, and other senior members of the institute. The delegation was briefed on the institute’s educational model, research initiatives, academic achievements, societal contributions, and future plans.
Rodriguez offered prayers at Sai Kulwant Hall to seek blessings from Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. She participated in morning prayers and spent time in contemplation at the Bhajan Hall. Rathnakar presented her with a portrait of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba as a token of respect and remembrance. Rodriguez’s visit reaffirmed the enduring connection she has with the spiritual legacy of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
