Actor Abhay Verma has started filming for his upcoming project, “Dilkashi,” alongside director Hansal Mehta, composer A.R. Rahman, and filmmaker Lijo Jose Pellissery. Expressing his excitement, Verma mentioned that he feels honored to work with his inspirations. He referred to the trio as his mentors and emphasized the significance of this opportunity in his career.
Verma expressed his gratitude, stating, “It feels like my work has reached the very people I’ve always looked up to. A. R. Rahman sir, Hansal Mehta sir, and Lijo Jose Pellissery sir have been a constant source of inspiration for me, and to have my name mentioned alongside theirs is something I still find hard to believe. They’ve been my gurus in every sense. Moments like these make you believe in something bigger, in grace, destiny, and in God a little more.”
The film, titled “Dilkashi,” features a script by Karan Vyas and includes Zahan Kapoor in a significant role. The project has been announced on social media with the hashtags “#Dilkashi releasing at your nearest cinemas soon #ItStartsHere.” The production is under True Story Films and Amen Movie Monastery, with Hansal Mehta and Sahil Saigal as producers, Lijo Jose Pellissery as director, and Karan Vyas as the writer.
