Actor Anup Soni celebrated his father-in-law, veteran actor Raj Babbar’s 74th birthday with a heartfelt note. Soni commended Babbar for blending serious theatre and mainstream Hindi cinema throughout his esteemed career. Sharing a video on social media, Soni expressed his affection, addressing Babbar as “Papa.”

Anup Soni, married to actress Juhi Babbar, highlighted Babbar’s legacy as a National School of Drama graduate. Babbar, known for his debut in ‘Kissa Kursi Ka’ in 1978, emerged as a prominent actor in the 1980s. His notable performances include films like ‘Nikaah,’ ‘Aaj Ki Awaaz,’ and ‘Mazdoor,’ showcasing his versatility.

Raj Babbar, married to Nadira Babbar, is the father of Juhi Babbar and actor Arya Babbar. His past association with late actress Smita Patil garnered attention in the 1980s. The couple’s son, actor Prateik, was born shortly before Patil’s untimely demise in 1986.
