Actor Danish Pandor recently revealed his experience of collaborating with filmmaker Imtiaz Ali in the upcoming movie “Main Vaapas Aaunga.” Pandor, who plays a special role in the film, mentioned auditioning for the part just before the release of “Dhurandhar” and completing the shoot before the movie hit theaters. He described the unique experience of performing in front of Imtiaz, highlighting the director’s attentive and hands-on approach to guiding actors during scenes.
Pandor praised Imtiaz Ali as an exceptionally humble and focused individual who understands precisely what he expects from actors. He noted Ali’s practice of observing performances live instead of relying on monitors, emphasizing the director’s dedication to extracting the desired emotions and expressions from the cast. Pandor, known for his remarkable performance in ‘Dhurandhar 2,’ kept details about his character in “Main Vaapas Aaunga” confidential but hinted at the character’s significance in the storyline despite being a special appearance.
In addition to Danish Pandor, the film “Main Vaapas Aaunga” stars Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Sharvari Wagh, and Vedang Raina in pivotal roles. The movie boasts a musical score by A.R. Rahman, with lyrics by Irshad Kamil. Produced jointly by Birla Studios, Applause Entertainment, and Window Seat Films’ Mohit Choudhary and Shibasish Sarkar, the film is set to hit theaters worldwide on June 12, 2026.
