In the film, Puniwala’s character introduces the Bhamardo competition, highlighting how participation can lead to a scholarship. The story follows a child’s journey of learning, hard work, and overcoming financial challenges to take part in the competition. Puniwala described his role as emotionally profound and inspiring, comparable to moments in “Taare Zameen Par.”
Despite initial confusion about the film’s storyline, Puniwala found the project impactful after its completion. He credited his decision to join the film to Babubhai Theba’s persuasion and trust in the character’s depth and significance. The actor also revealed the physical challenges faced during the shoot, with high temperatures causing health issues for some cast members.
