Actor Master Raju recently reminisced about his time on the set of ‘Parichay’ with veteran star Jeetendra. In a throwback photo posted on Instagram, a young Jeetendra is seen holding Master Raju affectionately. The film ‘Parichay,’ directed by Gulzar in 1972, also featured Jaya Bachchan, Sanjeev Kumar, and Vinod Khanna in special roles.

Master Raju, also known as Raju Shrestha, began his acting career as a child artist in the 1970s. He has appeared in numerous films, including ‘Parichay,’ ‘Bawarchi,’ ‘Daag: A Poem of Love,’ ‘Chitchor,’ and ‘Kitaab.’ Notably, he won the National Film Award for Best Child Artist for his role in ‘Chitchor’ in 1976. Currently, he can be seen in the youth show ‘Ziddi Dil Maane Na’ playing the character of Prem Deshpremi.

Master Raju’s last film appearance was in the 2005 movie ‘Khamoshh… Khauff Ki Raat,’ a mystery thriller directed by Deepak Tijori. The film was a remake of the 2003 psychological thriller ‘Identity’ by James Mangold.
