Actor Naveen Kasturia, preparing for the release of ‘Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya,’ expressed feeling more anxious about portraying a father’s character than a counselor in the series. In the show, he plays Mukul, a school counselor dealing with the emotional challenges of his job and his delicate bond with his daughter.
Kasturia admitted, “I was more nervous about playing the father’s part than playing the counselor. I’m not a father in real life yet, so stepping into that emotional space was completely new for me.” He found it both challenging and thrilling to grasp the father-daughter dynamics, including love, awkwardness, and communication hurdles.
The show, a light-hearted drama, delves into themes of hope, resilience, and community. Alongside Kasturia, it features Kay Kay Menon, Archana Puran Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Prasanna Bisht, Deven Bhojani, Ajitesh Gupta, Annapurna Soni, and Prachee Shah in pivotal roles.
Kasturia also shared his apprehension about acting alongside children due to their instinctive honesty. He praised the young actress playing his daughter, emphasizing the challenge of portraying the unspoken emotions between the characters. The show, directed by Himank Gaur and produced by Biswapati Sarkar and Sameer Saxena, is a seven-episode comedy-drama set to premiere on Prime Video in Hindi with English subtitles on July 24, 2026.
