In an episode of the reality show Tum Ho Naa, Rajeev Khandelwal, both actor and host, reveals his deep regret for not recognizing his mother’s early cancer symptoms. He shared his personal experience with ovarian cancer, emphasizing the importance of being vigilant about one’s health. Khandelwal urged viewers, especially women in India, to pay attention to symptoms like back pain, reduced appetite, bloating, and persistent gas, advising them to undergo tests if these signs persist.

Khandelwal expressed his belief that ovarian cancer can be managed and encouraged taking care of women around to prevent such tragedies. The actor’s mother succumbed to cancer in 2018 after a challenging battle lasting a year and a half.
