Actor Vivaan Sharma, known for his role in the web series ‘Raakh,’ disclosed his intention to move to Mumbai once he finishes school. Education holds great importance for him, and he aims to maintain his academic excellence. Sharma expressed his desire to conclude his studies at his current school before transitioning to Mumbai for a full-time acting career.
In preparation for his role in ‘Raakh,’ Sharma delved into old videos and classic songs, drawing inspiration from performers like Shammi Kapoor for dance sequences. Adapting to a different dance style posed a challenge as his usual style was modern and influenced by hip-hop. He emphasized learning acting through observation and practice.
Sharma detailed his approach to the role, mentioning extensive research as a key element. On an emotional level, he immersed himself in his character’s circumstances, striving to embody the feelings and reactions of Sahil. With director Prashant Sinha’s supportive guidance, the cast was encouraged to explore emotions independently, fostering authentic performances.
The web series ‘Raakh,’ written and co-directed by Anusha Nandakumar and Sandeep Saket, is a production of Endemol Shine India and BhaDiPa. Premiering on Prime Video on June 12 this year, the show has garnered attention for its compelling storytelling and performances.
