Actor Yash, gearing up for the release of the epic film ‘Ramayana’, revealed that he immersed himself in the character of Lankesh by playing Lord Shiva songs at full volume on set. Yash expressed that to connect with the role, he used music to delve into Ravana’s devotion to Lord Shiva.
At the San Diego Comic-Con 2026, the ‘Ramayana’ team discussed the movie, with Yash emphasizing his serious approach to the character. He mentioned using loud music to create the right atmosphere, playing Shiva songs to channel Ravana’s spiritual connection.
Ahead of the trailer launch on July 24, the ‘Ramayana’ team held a special event called ‘Pratham Sankalp’ in the national capital, marking the beginning of the film’s journey. The event witnessed Ranbir Kapoor paying respects to Sunny Deol, Kumar Vishwas, and the cast, symbolizing a significant moment in Indian cinema.
The trailer launch of ‘Ramayana’ was postponed due to nationwide student protests calling for the resignation of the former Union Minister of Education, Dharmendra Pradhan.
