As “Delhi Crime” marked its seventh anniversary, actress Jaya Bhattacharya shared her heartfelt sentiments about the enduring impact of the show. Portraying Sub-Inspector Vimla Bharadwaj, Jaya expressed gratitude for the profound and authentic experience, emphasizing the lasting impression it left on her. She credited the show’s creators and her fellow cast members, including Shefali Shah and Rasika Dugal, for crafting a truly meaningful project.

Delhi Crime, a critically acclaimed Indian police procedural crime drama series, was written and directed by Richie Mehta. The first season, released in 2019, delves into the aftermath of the 2012 Delhi gang rape, while subsequent seasons explore different criminal cases. Jaya’s portrayal of Vimla Bhardwaj in the series has been a significant milestone in her acting career.
