Actress Mahima Makwana, set to play Preeti in the upcoming drama ‘Musafir Cafe,’ expressed how her time in Mussoorie deeply influenced her connection to the character even before filming began.
She described Mussoorie as magical, instantly feeling a sense of belonging upon arrival. Mahima, who considers herself a mountain girl, savored the local delights like momos, chai, tiramisu, and parathas during her stay.
Mahima revealed that her exploration of Mussoorie before filming commenced helped her discover the essence of her character, Preeti. She credited the writers of ‘Musafir Cafe’ for crafting a special project, emphasizing the exceptional portrayal of all three characters.
Praising the show’s writing and the collaboration with TTT, Vikrant, and director Ruchir Arun, Mahima expressed her love for ‘Musafir Cafe,’ stating that the experience made her fall in love with herself. The series, a cinematic adaptation of Divya Prakash Dubey’s novel, is set to premiere on Netflix on July 24.
