Actress Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, currently filming a thriller-action series with Bengali star Parambrata Chatterjee, has unveiled a fresh appearance for the project. Nimrit expressed her excitement for the change, stating that the new look, featuring a fringe, symbolizes a shift into a different creative space. A source close to the actress revealed that Nimrit had been eager to experiment with her appearance, and the timing aligned perfectly with the new series.
The shooting for the undisclosed series, which began earlier this month, remains shrouded in secrecy. Nimrit recently praised her co-star Parambrata Chatterjee, referring to him as the “nicest person on the block.” She shared a selfie with Parambrata from their shoot in Nainital, expressing her admiration for him. In addition to this project, Nimrit is also set to star in “Ab Hoga Hisaab,” a high-stakes thriller set against a Punjabi backdrop, alongside Sanjay Kapoor, Shaheer Shaikh, and Mouni Roy.
Directed by Divyanshu Malhotra, “Ab Hoga Hisaab” promises a gripping narrative exploring intricate human emotions, power play, and hidden agendas. Nimrit’s role in the series is pivotal, adding layers of depth and intrigue to the unfolding mystery. Prior to this, Nimrit was seen in Guru Randhawa’s Punjabi film “Shaunki Sardar,” where she shared the screen with Babbu Maan and Guggu Gill. The film follows the journey of three men bonded by their love for fashion, adventure, and strong principles, leading them into a complex web of past connections and present challenges.
