She expressed how the character of Poongodi brought her closer to the realities of life, immersing herself in the role to the extent that it became a part of her. Padmapriya also revealed a fun behind-the-scenes moment during the filming, involving a vegetarian actor eating “chicken biryani” made from gobi manchurian.
