Actress-producer Pooja Batra recently graced the Cannes Film Festival with her short film ‘Echoes Of Us’. Sharing moments from the French Riviera, she exuded glamour from the iconic Art Deco hotel Martinez balcony, basking in the golden hour’s glow.
Reflecting on the enchanting evening, Batra described the Cannes golden hour as akin to a standing ovation. ‘Echoes of Us’ delves into themes of love, loss, and human connection, featuring Deepak Tijori and Spanish actress Alessandra Whelan Merediz. The film, directed by Joe Rajan, promises a touching narrative that transcends cultural boundaries.
Produced by Glowbellinc, a Los Angeles-based production house led by Batra, the film showcases her creative prowess. Batra, a former Miss India International, made her Bollywood debut in 1997 with ‘Virasat’ and has since starred in various films like ‘Haseena Maan Jayegi’ and ‘Taj Mahal: An Eternal Love Story’, which premiered at Cannes in 2004.
