Actress Shivaleeka Oberoi, known for her role in the “Khuda Haafiz” series, has posted a touching glimpse from her traditional ‘godh bharai’ ceremony. The video she shared on Instagram captures the intimate celebration filled with love and blessings as she embarks on a new phase in her life. The ceremony was marked by family members showering their blessings on Shivaleeka and her husband, Abhishek.
Shivaleeka expressed her joy in the caption, describing the event as “Godh bharai Surrounded by love, traditions, laughter and endless blessings.” She is married to Abhishek Pathak, whom she first met while working on the movie “Khuda Hafiz” in 2020. The couple got engaged in July 2022 and exchanged vows in February 2023.
Having debuted in “Yeh Saali Aashiqui” in 2019, Shivaleeka gained prominence with her role in “Khuda Haafiz” in 2020. She recently appeared in “Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2 – Agni Pariksha” alongside Vidyut Jammwal. Abhishek, on the other hand, directed “Drishyam 2” starring Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Tabu, and Akshaye Khanna, and has also worked on projects like “Udta Chaman.”
The couple announced their pregnancy on December 19 through a joint social media post, expressing their excitement for the arrival of their first child. They shared, “Our love story has found it’s sweetest verse — a tiny blessing is joining our universe (Baby angel, evil eye and Dizzy emojis) (sic).”
