Actress Shriya Pilgaonkar recently collaborated with her mother, veteran actress Supriya Pilgaonkar, to plant 1,500 indigenous saplings. Their green initiative aims to develop a mini forest that will serve as a habitat for birds and wildlife in the future.
Sharing the progress on social media, Shriya posted images of the plantation site showcasing the saplings arranged neatly across a vast area surrounded by lush greenery. In one post, she mentioned learning values like patience, resilience, and compassion from the saplings, acknowledging her mother’s involvement.
Supriya Pilgaonkar also joined in by urging everyone to “do your bit” through her social media post, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation. Shriya, known for her work in various films and series, including ‘Fan’ and ‘Mirzapur’, is the daughter of renowned actors Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar.
