Adani Airport Holdings Limited Director Jeet Adani highlighted India’s pivotal position in the AI century during the AI Impact Summit 2026. He stressed the importance of India leaving its mark on the AI era through intelligence, standards, and values. Adani pointed out that while India excelled in the IT sector globally, the benefits were not fully realized within the country.
Addressing the summit attendees, Adani described AI as a transformative force that could reshape national sovereignty. He posed critical questions about whether India would lead in adopting AI, create its intelligence, and develop its productivity. Adani outlined three key pillars – Energy Sovereignty, Compute and Cloud Sovereignty, and Services Sovereignty – that would shape India’s AI landscape.
According to Adani, energy security is intricately linked to intelligence security in the AI era. He emphasized the strategic significance of India’s renewable energy expansion, highlighting its role in ensuring intelligence security. Adani also discussed the Adani Group’s monumental investment of $100 billion to establish a green-energy-powered AI infrastructure platform in India.
By integrating renewable energy sources and cutting-edge computing technologies, Adani’s initiative aims to anchor India’s Intelligence Revolution. This ambitious project is designed to not only power India’s AI future but also ensure its sovereignty and security on a national scale.
