Adani Electricity marked the ‘National Electrical Safety Week 2026’ from June 26 to July 2 in its offices and supply areas. The week saw the organization conducting educational workshops and programs focusing on electrical safety for both employees and customers. The theme for this year’s event was “Competency, Compliance, and Caution – Ensuring Electrical Safety.”
Last month, Adani Electricity enhanced its disaster management preparedness ahead of the monsoon season to protect its 3.15 million customers from potential disruptions. The company activated its Central Disaster Control Centre (CDCC) to manage any emergencies during the monsoon, ensuring swift response and communication throughout the period.
Adani Electricity’s spokesperson emphasized the company’s commitment to safe practices, a skilled workforce, and compliance to ensure the safety of homes and workplaces. The electricity distribution company in Mumbai strategically deployed seven Quick Response Teams (QRTs) across its network to address challenges posed by the monsoon season.
To monitor water levels effectively, 98 advanced water level sensors have been integrated into the Advanced Distribution Management System at critical locations. The CDCC utilizes cutting-edge satellite and wireless technologies for seamless communication and incident management, minimizing downtime and ensuring efficient operations.
